Mrs. Susan J Hinton, 79, of 1011 Chapel Ave., a resident of Montgomery County for the past 50 years, died Sunday in Culver Hospital after a short illness. She was born May 13, 1891 in Cave City, Ky., to Abner and Helen Runyon. She was married to George Ballard, John Thomas Walker and Frank C. Hinton. They preceded her in death. Surviving are five sons Daniel F. Hinton of Champaign Ill., Don D. Hinton of Fort Worth, Tex., James T. Walker and William Ballard, both of Crawfordsville, and Roy Chester Walker; a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Walker of Crawfordsville; a stepson, William Walker of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Rueben, Noah and Roy Runyon, all of Kentucky, a sister, Mrs. Helen Harrison of Kentucky, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, George Ballard and Elmer and Edward Walker; three stepsons, John, Ben and Clarence Walker, and three brothers, Porter, Andy and Jim Runyon. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bright and Burkhart funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Typed by Chris M.
